Peace, Love & Joy - Hand Tufted Rug

Hand Tufted Rugs

Inspired by the work of US rug designer Walter Nichols, who made bold patterns and bright colours popular in the 1920s, Peace, Love & Joy features a rich crimson wool base with a shimmering pink border. Red, white, pink and green, with a highlight of gold, spring to life in the petals and leaves of orchids, which represent love, beauty and wealth, lotus flowers, which symbolise purity, and glorious chrysanthemums, which represent happiness, longevity and joy.

An exuberant design, the rich colours work beautifully with larger-than-life blooms in a rug that is full of joy, light and life.

'Enjoy adding a touch of luxury to your home with red, a regal and lucky colour. Chinese culture influences many of our bright wool rug designs and in feng shui red represents good fortune and bravery.'
