Our Mood Board with Leopard Gold

Our Mood Board with Leopard Gold

Our Leopard Gold hand-tufted wool and Tencel rug is a stunning leopard design that combines bold imagery with neutral tones to create a head-turning rug that is still easy to place in the home. Light and bright with a gold Tencel leopard shimmering amongst butterflies and foliage, this is a statement piece that doesn’t shout but always gets noticed.

Bold design that subtly makes an impact and adds something extra special to floors.

'I’ve always been drawn to nature and the animal kingdom, the way creatures co-exist, their beauty and natural grace. I love seeing animals in their natural environment, it is a constant source of joy and inspiration.'

1. Danish Armchairs with Sculptural Oak Arms, Denmark, 1950s, available at 1stDibs

The standout feature of this pair is without a doubt the sculpted solid oak arms that emerge from the soft sheepskin. These elegant organic lines create a striking silhouette, dictating the overall aesthetic. This pair of armchairs falls into the category of the so-called biomorphic mid-century, that describes the furniture that relished in organic, curved, smooth surfaces, design that was moulded into the shapes of natural occurrences. The beautiful sheepskin upholstery gives these chairs a soft, cosy look while also accentuating the curved back and the oak elements. A classic tell for Danish design harkening back to the 1950s are tapered wood legs, a feature that’s endured, giving the design a timeless, sophisticated feel.
