What we loved in November…

What we loved in November…

Oh so much visual delight did November bring!

Let’s start with this delightful Daisy Tea Story tea set from Wedgwood. This whimsical, romantic design, available in dusky pink and blue, is so pretty isn’t it? Shall we have tea?

And how about some cake?  Why don’t we serve it on THE most fabulous cake stand we have ever seen. Check this out!

So elegant!

This three tiered Gilded Crane Stand from Anthropologie is made from porcelain and bronze.  Top marks for superb design.  A useful piece that remains elegant and in no way compromises on style. It’s on our wish lists for Christmas, that’s for sure.

Oh it is just fabulous!

Now we’ve got the tableware sorted why don’t we throw in some gorgeous wallpaper to boot and surround ourselves in style? deGournay perhaps?  Okay, let’s go for L’Eden collection in the Paradiso colour way.  de Gurney’s design philosophy is for vibrant, balanced and contrasting colours that create an aura of happiness, allowing you to relax surrounded by beauty after a hectic day. You certainly wouldn’t be thinking about work once you’d allowed your mind to wander into the scenery in this wallpaper!

Let your imagination loose…

Now flooring – we need something soft and beautiful underfoot whilst we’re enjoying all the delights of this rather splendid tea party. How about our Peacock Palms rug? Or Peacock Tree rug? No spillages please!

And finally something to anchor and ground all this flowing beauty. Something slightly masculine perhaps… something dark, something solid.  Ah ha! Swoon Editions’ Herning sideboard in charcoal fits the bill perfectly.  This showstopping, contemporary piece has a bold finish and brass detailing and we can store things in it, which is always great.  But we wouldn’t want to store away the tea set or the cake stand would we? No, they’d have to sit on top to be admired constantly. We could store ugly things in it.  Things that don’t interrupt our beautiful view of the world through these pieces.

We hope you enjoyed our little impromptu tea party!  We certainly did.
